It is deemed an object lesson that fits in well together with the Easter season. To get ready the lesson, get 4 plastic Happy easter ! and place the following components of them: inside one egg can be a sticker, inside the second is really a polished rock, from the third is a bit of cloth, and the fourth you have a nail. The key lesson to teach is God will use you to meet a desire in a friend's life and also the supporting Bible verse is James 1:22.

The apostles were ordinary, everyday guys. I doubt that people saw anything special when passing them at work. Outwardly these men didn't seem special. What built them into special was what was on the inside; something people couldn't see. I have 4 eggs here, each with something inside. Let's consider each one and see if we can figure out what made them so special and what can make you special as well.

(Open the very first egg.) Here we have a very sticker. Stickers are bright and colorful so when you put them on something, they hold fast. Giving a bright, colorful sticker to an individual can be a real encouragement for them and help brighten a full day. A true friend is someone that sticks by you it doesn't matter what and has a way of brightening your entire day. By the time you get to the book of Acts, the thing is that the disciples stuck by one another and encouraged one another.Surprise Eggs

(Open the second egg.) Listed here is a rock; but this one isn't a typical one. It's a polished rock. Normally, rocks are rough, nonetheless they can be polished generating smooth like this one. It takes time and effort to polish one, when it's done, it helps make it special. An authentic friend is someone that accepts you as you are, but also helps to make you better. They do that by permitting you know when you're starting to mess up, by encouraging you to definitely do right things, and also by helping you to think of others ahead of yourself. A true friend may help polish you and make you into a better person.

(Open the next egg.) This one carries a piece of cloth within it. This reminds me of the cleaning rag that a servant would use. A true friend is one who serves others and puts them first. Service starts with your heart as a wish to help others and shows within your actions. You can serve others when you are kind to them, helping them after they need help, or saying an encouraging word to them when they are down. The disciples served people often.

(Open the fourth egg.) A nail. Jesus is the best friend anyone can have. The Bible states that he is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. But, some wicked men nailed Jesus towards the cross to pay for our sins. When you have a friend that doesn't know Jesus as Savior, their greatest need is to be saved using their sin. You can help meet that need by telling them about Jesus. The disciples went in all places telling people about Jesus.

What can these four everything has in common? They all come from a heart that's in love with Jesus and contains his love for others. James 1:22 tells us to be doers of the word and never hearers only. If you're deeply in love with Jesus and have the romance for others, you will be a doer and then God can use one to meet a need within a friend's life.
